The Sydney Girls High School difference
A strong start
Our school welcomes all students from all backgrounds. We help every child feel safe, included and ready to learn from their very first day.
Growth in the classroom and beyond
We offer our students a wide range of subjects and opportunities. This empowers them to learn, develop skills, and discover their passions.
Support for every family
Our teachers and learning and wellbeing support teams work with our families. We co-design plans that help students learn in the way that works best for them.

Reconciliation
Reconciliation is at the heart of our school community.
We acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Sydney Girls High School stands, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within our community.
Reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility and an ongoing commitment. As educators, we support our students to understand Australia’s true histories and their continuing impact, while fostering respect, equity and positive relationships for the future.
