Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school event may include:
- school orientation days
- sports carnivals
- open day and school tours
- Harmony Week and Book Week events
- excursions and incursions
- performances, concerts or school productions
- fundraising, charity and community events
- award assemblies
- graduation and other celebrations.

Sydney Girls High School offers prospective students and their families an opportunity to take a tour through the campus.
The tour, led by current students, commences in the main entrance of the original building and then heads to the Library, Campbell Hall, the grounds and the Governor's Centre. Participants will be able to view the school on a typical school day.
The school Principal, Ms Rachel Powell, will then give a short address and answer any remaining questions.
Please note that there is no parking available on site. We advise guests to plan ahead. The school is well serviced by public transport, especially the light rail and buses on Anzac Parade and Cleveland Street.
